TALKS
by Bill Crow

Please note that all Bill Crow talks are available singly or in programmes of four.  Each individual ‘life and works’ of a specific artist runs for around 40 slides and has a duration of approximately 90 minutes.  We have produced some fifty individual talks on various artists.  We have a collection of approximately 100 Bill Crow art talks, all researched and prepared by me over the past decade.  They are presented on Powerpoint.  Organisations, or individuals, who might wish to commission a talk from the library should be aware that all talks are designed to be delivered by Bill Crow

DAVID HOCKNEY , HOW DOES HE COMPARE WITH BRITAIN`S GREATS ?

Following my visit to the four hundred strong works Hockney retrospective exhibition at the Foundation Louis Vuitton in Paris I will be challenging the popular view of Hockney’s art through comparison with the established British greats: Turner, Gainsborough and Constable.  What will be Hockney’s legacy for generations to come?  How will he stack up ?  Everything will be open to debate.

Four lectures at The Old Generator Station, King’s Field, Aldeburgh, IP15 5HY.  Dates: 12th, 19th, 26th Nov., 3rd Dec, 2025.  £40 for the entire series.  For further information contact Bill Crow 07802 908479, wjcrow@aol.com.
